Heterogeneous Computing with OpenCL

Good book. But this is old version.

It would have been better if the book started with some basic information where to find necessary components to compile and build the examples - perhaps in the preface. The book does a good job of describing what OpenCL is and the problem domains it can address with some nice introductory examples, however, it's not until the end of chapter 4 that compilation requirements are mentioned.

This book was a very well written introduction to programing with OpenCL. It explains the basics of using GPU's and APU's and parallel programing.
